At Noon with Teri Hofford

Body image educator. Artist of light and shadow. Reformed Good Girl leading others toward lives that are both rebelliously soft and deeply powerful.

Teri spends her days creating content, writing, making art, reading psychology, recording podcasts, and building courses. She does it all with the energy of a manifesting generator. And when she is not inside, you will likely find her outside, following the light.

The Ritual at Noon

If you dropped into Teri’s world at noon, you would find her creating social media content on Canva, recording a podcast, or setting up self portraits in the forest. Noon is where her creativity spills out into many forms at once.

Midday Reset

After years of hustling until burnout, Teri has learned to honor her body’s cues. Around 3 p.m., she listens when it asks for rest. A quick 10 to 15 minute cat nap resets everything. She wakes up lighter, renewed, and ready to continue.

What She’s Romanticizing

Right now, she is romanticizing how she prepares her food. She collects vintage china plates and uses them for every meal. Even a simple snack becomes a feast when it sits on something beautiful.

If Her Camera Roll Had a Noon Folder

It would be filled with dappled light caught on walks, clouds shifting quickly over the mountains, and flowers in every shade. Her lens lingers on beauty in motion, always changing, always alive.

What You’d Find Nearby

A half-finished fresh juice waits in the fridge. Her notes app holds words that might become poems, prose, or captions. In her bag, thrift store coupons, film loaded into a point-and-shoot camera, and receipts waiting to be sorted.

The Mindset That Grounds Her

That is the phrase that carries her through her day.

Her Afternoon Soundtrack

Modern classical is her backdrop. “Almost Idyllic” by Sleeping At Last, “Daughters” by Andrew Land, “Truth” by Balmorhea, and the soft compositions of Avery Bright. Music that turns her afternoons into the scenes of a movie.

Where She Feels Most Herself

In a meadow, garden, or under a willow tree swaying in the breeze. These are the places where she feels whole, fully herself, at ease.

Her Noon Self to Her 9AM Self

“Thank you for prioritizing yourself before your work. It makes the second half of the day gentler.”

A Few Current Obsessions

Shooting film and self portraits in the forest
Reclaiming girlhood through 90s movies like The Secret Garden and Fern Gully
Collecting vintage china plates
Chasing dappled light and clouds over the mountains
Fresh juice from the farmer’s market

Teri’s story reminds us that softness is not weakness. That rest is its own form of rebellion. That food, light, and music can become anchors if you choose to treat them as such. Noon, for her, is not a pause in the day. It is a place of noticing. A place where gentleness and creativity meet.
